My Top “Blog Tips”
Darren Rowse is in his last week of “31 Days to a Better Blog”, and along with that he has posted his latest reader submissions. I always love when Darren does group-writing-type projects, because the tips provided by the readers are always interesting. You can read other people’s blogging experiences, what worked for them, what didn’t work for them, and often advice from those in-the-know.
Going through the lists can be daunting, however. Today’s post contains 97 links, bringing the total to a whopping 456 total links. Darren indicates he’ll be posting more before it’s over. In order to fully appreciate what every reader has contributed, you need quite a bit of time.
That’s why I’ve compiled a list of my favorite. I’m not Darren Rowse, but I thought I’d link to the ones I personally like. I don’t usually like long “My Favorite” lists, but this is an exception. Due to the huge number, I haven’t included every single one I like. Actually, I’ll be starting with this latest set of entries, and most-likely making my way to the others. If you submitted one, and I didn’t list it, please send it my way.

This was just from the latest set of Darren’s reader submissions. I’ll be making my way to the others, later. If you submitted one to Darren (even one that wasn’t published) please forward it to me, and I’ll include it, too.
For the record, JD at I Do Things So You Don’t Have To, has also compiled a list of her favorites. Be sure to check his out, too.
Edit: I apologize to JD. I referred to her as “his favorites”. One of my classmates names was JD (Jerry Davis), so I automatically said “his”. Sorry JD!

Hey, Brennan, thanks so much for the ping! I really appreciate it. I’m glad to have discovered your site, too, looks like you’ve got some good stuff here.
Thanks again, and, not that it matters and how would you know, but I’m a lady blogger!
JD, I’m so sorry! One of my classmates names was JD, and his stood for Jerry Davis. I automatically put in “his”. I corrected it. Great site, BTW!
No problem! You’re not the only one. I’m not trying to be mysterious with the name “JD,” but I should’ve realized it might result in some gender confusion!
Thanks for understanding. It’s not your fault. If I’d read your “About” page, like I should’ve, I would’ve known. I like your blog, BTW.
I’m not sure I could do a nude beach.
“I’m not sure I could do a nude beach.”
That’s why I’m here! I do it so you don’t have to!
(thanks for changing me from a “he” to a “she” in your entry–you didn’t have to, but I do appreciate it!)
You’re welcome. Thank you for catching my mistake.
